Propane Jet Burner Features

Using the Boil Boss Triple Jet is simple and the performance is unmatched. Our goal was to eliminate the hassle, stress, and overall poor experience that is all too expected with other propane jet burners.

The Igniter

Old-school matches and lighters? Not anymore. We built our ignition system from the ground up, adding remote ignition capabilities. Designed for tough conditions, it's the most durable igniter in outdoor cooking and was specifically designed for this Triple Jet Burner. And, thanks to our specially designed electrode assembly, spark generation is possible even in wet conditions.

Triple Jet Layout

Many crawfish burners are slow and use excessive amounts of propane. Hitting accurate cook times with them is difficult. The Triple Jet Burner has three flames in independent locations enhancing flame-to-pot contact. Our Flame Retention Plate works to keep these flames under your pot for longer, increasing thermal absorption.

Blue Flame Jet

A lot of pot burners are inefficient, especially at low pressures—as noted by the telltale orange/red flame. This means fuel is being wasted every time you use your propane jet burner.

The blue flame jet design adjusts propane-to-air ratio across a wider pressure range, both high and low. Our jet tubes induct double the air, allowing us to slash propane consumption. This also helps decrease tank freeze issues. This is because we are reducing the flow rate of propane, ultimately decreasing the rate of state change.

FAQs

British thermal unit (BTU) ratings are misleading. They don't account for a lot, like heat loss. Manufacturers who advertise high BTUs don't give you the context of what that number means; it's a theoretical maximum of the potential energy of propane at a maximum of pounds per square inch (PSI). Ultimately, we care about how effective our burner is at taking energy from propane and how that is translated into heating water.

Excellent Products

I own three products from Boil Boss-the cooler ring, the paddle and the cooker. Using these three items has made boiling days so much better. The cooker is by far the best constructed on the market. I doubt I will ever own another cooker after this one. Using these three items paddle and cooling ring has improved the quality of my crawfish and takes the guesswork out of soaking times. Their products are well built and they stand behind them. Huge fan of this company.

Yea, it’s expensive but it’s built like a tank and it can boil water.. I would start my 15 gallon boil at least 2 hours prior to have a rolling boil going, but with this rig it took 40 minutes. When you drop your ingredients, it’s back at a boil in under a minute. It will chew through some propane, make sure your tank is full

Boil Boss Triple Jet Burner

Used the burner for the 1st time Easter Sunday. Heated a pot of water quicker than any other burner I have. I have used the burner several times since then and it has performed perfectly. Strong durable construction. Remote start is also a game changer. Lights every time on the first push. Glad I decided to purchase the burner.

Built like a tank

Today, i finally unboxed my boil boss burner. This thing is built like a tank! I haven't had the opportunity to use it yet, but my first impression of it is that it is a quality piece of equipment. It looks great just sitting in the floor...it is very impressive. It is clean looking and extremely well thought out and put together. The remote electronic ignition is also a brilliant idea...no more having to remove the pot from the burner or getting down on the ground to be able to light it! We're having our first boil with it on mothers day weekend, 5/10/25, and i am excited about this new burner, as I expect it to raise the bar on our crawfish boils!
